J&K Government Thursday said that it “will not allow any Yatra” proposed by a New Delhi based organization-Acharaya Abhinav Gupta Sheshadri Samroh Samiti – to a cave in Beerwah area of Budgam district.
Government spokesperson and minister for Education told KNS that “no such Yatra will be allowed”.
“No such Yatra will be allowed. This has been made clear already by Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minster,” Akhtar said.
Akhtar said that traditional pilgrimages and fairs will be allowed.
“We have not received any such proposal. In case there is any proposal, the government will not allow it,” he said.
The minister said that “holding such a Yatra is rumours only and should not be taken seriously”.
