Government has banned the pro-freedom leaders to visit Pak High Commission in New Delhi to attend Pakistan national day celebrations, reports said on Wednesday.

All the frontline resistance leaders have been detained ahead of Pakistan Day, being celebrated on March 23.

Pakistan high commission has invited all the pro-freedom leaders to attend the function.

Police sources said that they arrested National Front chairman, Nayeem Khan early Wednesday at the Srinagar airport.

Pertinently, Syed Ali Geelani is undergoing house detention since long however, whenever he wished to visit New Delhi, he was allowed. But sources said, authorities have this time decided not to allow him to leave Kashmir.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is also undergoing house detention since one week and Yasin Malik is lodged in central jail Srinagar.

Police have also detained Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Shabir Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Shahd-ul-Islam, Pir Saifullah and several others to stop them from visiting Pak High Commission in New Delhi.
