Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar Monday said the Government is reviewing the entire security scenario to prevent any attack on security forces in future.
The Minister was responding after legislators in Upper House sought Government’s response on the recent attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Pampore in which eight men lost their lives and 20 others were injured, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The Minister assured that a strategy is being devised to respond to new tactics adopted by militants. He further said that the attack is a condemnable act, saying that everyone including Prime Minister, Union Ministers, and Chief Minister (CM) and Deputy Chief Minister have condemned it.
The Minister further assured the House that the NoKs of the men, who lost their lives and those who got injured in the attack would get compensation as per norms.
