SRINAGAR: The Lieutnant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that his government isn’t buying peace but wants to establish it.

While speaking on the occasion of inauguration of Kashmir’s first Cinema Inox he said that government won’t allow “harassment” of any innocent person but won’t spare anyone destabilizing the “peace” in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said the government is committed towards economic and social development of the union territory.

“Those tasked over decades to bring such facilities to Kashmir never fulfilled it.”

He said in coming months a new film city would be inaugurated in Jammu and Kashmir under the new Film Policy.

“Cinema like books is an important part of the society,” he said, adding that Kashmir and Bollywood have had historic connection.
