Srinagar

Reacting to the reports of an alliance government between NC-PDP and Congress, senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former finance minister Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday said that keeping in view the situation of Kashmir the three parties have decided to join hands.

Addressing a media gathering in Srinagar, Bukhari said that leaders from the three parties have agreed to form a government but there is no confirmation of state’s new chief minister, adding that the three parties are on to save the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

The state is currently under Governor rule which cannot be extended after it completes its six month period in December.
