In a post on X, Abdullah welcomed the participation of thousands of people in the opposition-led march and expressed solidarity with the campaign.
“Great to see tens of thousands march with the INDIA bloc in Delhi today demanding that the democratic rights of citizens are protected. We stand together in this fight,” he said.
The march, titled “March for Democracy”, was organised by opposition MPs and leaders, accompanied by hundreds of supporters and activists, who set out towards the Supreme Court to submit a petition over allegations of “vote chori” and against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
