Unidentified men hurled a grenade on a CRPF bunker in Sopore on Friday leaving one CRPF personnel with minor injuries.
Imtiyaz Hussain, SP Sopore told Kashmir Life over phone that the grenade missed the target and exploded on the road leaving one CRPF personnel with some minor injuries. He said, “Normalcy returned within minutes in the area and there was no need of cordoning off the area as the people who did this ran away.”
So far no militant outfit has claimed the responsibility for the attack. The attack comes just two days after militants targeted an Army convoy on Hyderpora Byepass leaving eight Army men dead.
