Militants on Friday late evening hurled a grenade on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker in Lalchowk area of Srinagar.
An official said that militants hurled a grenade on 132 BN of CRPF bunker in Lalchowk. However, there were no reports of any loss.
Meanwhile, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit has claimed the responsibility of the grenade attack on a CRPF bunker at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
A JeM spokesperson Mohammad Hassan said the attack was in revenge for its slain commander Nasir Khan alias Abdul Rehman, news agency GNS quoted from a Jaish statement.
