An encounter has started between militants and government forces in Gund Brath area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday morning.
The gunfight began after a joint team of Army’s 22RR, SOG Sopore launched a cordon and search operation in the area after receiving specific inputs about the presence of the militants.
Meanwhile, authorities suspended internet services in Sopore town as a precautionary measure in the wake of this encounter.
