A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Katpora village of Yaripora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday late evening.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 50RR, CRPF, and SOG cordoned off Katpora area of Yaripora after having credible input about the presence of some militants.
While the forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon government forces triggering a gunfight.
