An encounter started in North Kashmir’s Lolab early Thursday.
A police official from Kupwara district told Kashmir Life over phone that a gun fight ensued between Lolab based 28 army and suspected militants around 6 this morning.
“Encounter is going on and SOG has rushed to the spot,” he said.
Meanwhile, reports reaching here said that a suspected militant has been killed in the gun fight with forces.
“A gun fight ensued early this morning when forces came to know about presence of a militant in Potushai area of Lolab,” reports said, “so far, one militant has been killed.”
However, the police official did not confirm any casualty yet.
