Gunmen looted a bank at Noorpora area of Tral in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday, reports said.
They said that the gunmen fired several rounds before fleeing with cash.
Two to three masked gunmen barged into the J&K Bank branch at Noorpora and took away cash at gunpoint, eyewitness said.
A police official of the area confirmed the incident and said that gunmen have looted around Rs one lakh.
The area has been cordoned off and search to nab the looters has been started, he said.
