Dal Khalsa Tuesday paid tributes to Muhammad Afzal Guru on his third death anniversary.
In a statement issued from Amritsar, a party leader Kanwar Pal Singh said, “Indian state murdered Guru secretively three years ago.”
He slammed state for denying mortal remains of Guru to his family members despite their legal and fundamental right to get the same. “Kashmir is remembering its brave son who laid down his life at the altar of freedom for his people. He is among those handful persons who had been blessed by Almighty to attain martyrdom,” Singh said, “Guru would always be remembered as symbol of resistance to Indian repression.”
