Governor NN Vohra has directed to district magistrates and senior officers of the state that the solution of the problems of common people should be ensured at the earliest.
Sources told KNS that Governor in this regard chaired a high level meeting on Monday and said that the common man must feel that deputed officers in their areas are making efforts for the solutions of their problems.
Sources said Vohra stressed that the officers posted at district, tehsil and block levels should do their work with concentration and devotion so that the problem should be solved at local level. “Officers should survey developments of their areas and must stay at their offices. Any complaint regarding non seriousness on behalf of any official will be dealt severely and the officers will be punished,” sources quoting Vohra warned. “I must tell you that pending cases of people like in revenue and other departments should be disposed off at the primary level so that people will not suffer.”
