H1N1: 19 More Test +ve, Taking Case to 172

SRINAGAR

19 patients tested positive for H1N1 on Wednesday, raising the number of inected citizens to 172 since Oct, 2014, a statement issued by SKIMS said.

However, the statement added that no death has been reported today.

Meanwhile, SKIMS received twenty thousand Tamiflu tablets and 2000 N95 masks.

The SKIMS statement said that out of 11 patients , only one patient is on ventilator.

11 patients are admitted in the Isolation ward of SKIMS and 3 were discharged in last 24 hours.

Doctors at SKIMS processed many samples in the last 24 hours however 19 were positive for H1N1.

Meanwhile, 145 cases were seen in the OPD today upto 2:30pm.

SKIMS authorities have informed general public to maintain hygiene, wear masks, avoid gatherings and unnecessary visit to hospitals.
