SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee has directed all intending pilgrims for Haj 2025 to submit their original international passports along with one passport-size photograph (with a white background) and the pay-in-slip of the second instalment (Haj Committee of India copy). The documents are to be deposited at the Haj House in Bemina, Srinagar.

According to the notice issued by the Haj Committee, pilgrims from districts other than Srinagar can submit their documents at the office of their respective Deputy Commissioner. The submission window will remain open from February 3, 2025, to February 18, 2025.
The submission of documents is a crucial step in the Haj registration process, ensuring that all necessary formalities are completed well in advance of the pilgrimage. The Haj Committee has urged all intending pilgrims to adhere to the given schedule and submit their documents within the stipulated time to avoid any inconvenience.
The Haj pilgrimage is one of the most significant religious journeys for Muslims worldwide, and thousands of pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir undertake the sacred journey each year. The state Haj Committee, in coordination with the Haj Committee of India and other relevant authorities, oversees the arrangements to facilitate a smooth and hassle-free experience for the pilgrims.
