Srinagar

A complete shutdown is being observed in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on fifth consecutive day to mourn the killings of two minor militants.

A witness said that all shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.

Forces have been deployed at many places in order to prevent any untoward incidents, they said.

On Sunday, Mudasir Parrey and Saqib Bilal Sheikh, aged 14 years and 17 years respectively, were killed along with a Pakistani militant in Mujgund near the town during a gunfight that raged for 18 hours.
