A young lady was found killed during clashes between protesters and government forces in Unisoo area of Handwara on Monday.
Local sources said that soon after the gunfight in the village locals hit the streets and pelted stones on forces who retaliated by using force.
They said that a young lady identified as Mysar, daughter of Mohammad Shaban Mir was found killed.
“It was not known immediately whether Mysar was killed during gunfight or clashes which erupted soon after killing of militants,” said local.
However they said clashes intensified in the area after the lady’s killing.
