Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army on Sunday paid tributes to an army colonel, major, police sub-inspector and two army men who were killed in a gunfight in Chanjmulla village of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Two militants were also killed in the operation that lasted for over 12 hours.
A police spokesman said that IGP Kashmir, Sector Comdr, DIG north Kashmir and SP Handwara paid tributes to two army personnel and a police officer at Langate in Handwara.
