Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura on Sunday hosted Iftaar Party at Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA) Hall, Budgam.
Around 1000 guests from across the district attended the Iftaar, an official spokesperson said early this evening.
A host of dignitaries including Minister of State for Health & Medical Education, Housing & Urban Development and Social Welfare Ms Asiea Naqash, Member Legislative Council Saifu-ud-Din Bhat, District Development Commissioner, Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad, SSP Budgam, Fayaz Ahmad Lone, former MLA Dr Shafi Ahmad Wani, Muntizar Mohi-ud-Din besides a good number of orphan students from various tehsils of the district, members of the media fraternity, prominent citizens and civil society representatives participated.
Special Prayers were held on the occasion and participants prayed for peace and prosperity of the State.
