Expressing his gratitude to the guests on coming to Kashmir, Mirwaiz condemned the State government’s restrictions on the renowned Islamic scholars on participating in the religious programme.
He said it was unfortunate that the state government put curbs on many Islamic scholars and barred them from participating in this religious programme by not providing visas to many of them.
Terming the present situation of the Muslim Ummah as a matter of concern for all Muslims, Mirwaiz said it was the duty and responsibility of the Ulemas and religious preachers not only to guide the Muslim political leadership but also teach and guide the Ummah in order to address all the prevailing problems and difficulties faced by the Ummah.
