Kashmir High Court Bar Association has demanded immediate legal action against the culprits who are responsible uploading blasphemous pictures on social networking website ‘Facebook’ in district Kishtwar.
“Immediate action against the culprits is needed without any delay as these culprits are involved for sacrilegious act and inciting the communal hatred among the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” a bar statement said.
The statement added, “It is evident that the blasphemous picture has been uploaded with nefarious designs in order to hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community”.
Bar has appreciated the people of Kishtwar for protesting against the blasphemy act.
“The Bar Association appreciates the timely step taken by the people of Kishtwar and adjacent areas who took out the procession on streets in order to condemn this heinous act,” bar said.
Bar called an extra ordinary meeting of it’s Executive Committee in the High Court premises on Wednesday and has took a strong notice of the blasphemous picture on the Social Networking site ‘Facebook’ uploaded by some miscreant youth of Chatroo Tehsil and District Kishtwar.
