SRINAGAR: A head constable posted at Police Station Chassana was found dead in his private room in the Chassana area of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.
Officials said the deceased has been identified as Head Constable Mohd Farooq.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. A police team has reached the spot and taken up the matter for investigation, they said.
