Divisional Commissioner Jammu announced that traffic movement has been barred on the 4th Bridge and its adjoining rotary. Commuters have been advised to avoid travelling from Hotel Asia, Satwari Chowk, and Bhagwati Nagar towards Major Somnath Chowk and the 4th Bridge.
He further said that the stretch from Atal Chowk (Panjthirthi) to Sidhra Bridge has also been shut following landslide debris and shooting stones blocking the road. Authorities urged residents to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
