Srinagar: A 37-year-old man, Fayaz Ahmed Najar, son of Ghulam Ahmed Najar, is suffering from kidney failure since May 2017. Najar’s family has appealed the masses for the financial help.
Hailing from Bungaam Koil village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, Najar developed diabetes in 2013, which resulted in a kidney failure. He was first admitted in SMHS in Srinagar then SKIMS Soura and now doctors have suggested him to visit Delhi for the specialised treatment.
Najar, a tailor by profession, is handicapped since childhood. Najar, a father of two: daughter, 15, and a son 12, cannot walk as one of his legs is crippled.
Since all these five years, the family was subjected to run pillar to post to manage the treatment expenses for him. Nightmare for the family, it consumed them a huge amount of money.
The only treatment cost of Najar, which doctors have prescribed for him is Rs 24,000 per month, leaving aside the cost of medicines.
