A four year old child, Uzair Javaid son of Javaid Ahmad Shah, a resident of Khyambar at Hyder Beigh in Pattan in suffering from severe neurological disorder.
The child is under treatment at SMHS hospital in Srinagar and doctors have diagnosed him with Cerebral Palsy (Post HIE sequelae).
Javaid Ahmad, father of Uzair is a labourer and works with a local contractor on daily basis. “So far, Javid has spent Rs 6 lac on the treatment of his son, Uzair.”
However, due to extreme conditions at home, Javaid told Kashmir Life, he is not in a position to bear the expenses further.
Despite undergoing treatment for last four years in Kashmir, Uzair has not shown any improvement, his maternal uncle, informed Kashmir Life.
“Now, we intend to take him outside Kashmir for treatment. However, his father is not financially so strong. Therefore we request the general public to donote generously for the kid so that he can be treated and will live a normal rest of his life.”
