Police arrested two drug traffickers and recovered three Kgs of Heroine worth crores of rupees from their possession, a police statement said on Tuesday.

The statement said that acting on specific information, a police party of police station Rajbagh established a Naka near footbridge near SPS museum. During the Naka two drug traffickers were apprehended and on their search police recovered three kgs of Heroine worth crores of rupees from them.

The arrested peddlers were identified as Mohammad Sabir Barwal and Alam u din Paswal residents of Jabra, Uri. Both the accused have been taken into custody and are being questioned.

Rajbagh police have registered a case FIR No 16/2015 under section 8/22 NDPS Act and investigation has been taken up.
