SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has constituted a high-level committee to monitor and supervise the augmentation of infrastructure at its Jammu and Srinagar wings following the increase in the sanctioned strength of Hon’ble Judges.
The committee has been constituted through Order No. 1116 of 2026/RG, dated July 17, 2026, issued by the Office of the Registrar General at Srinagar.
According to the order,the Chief Justice (Acting) has constituted the committee under the chairmanship of Justice Shahzad Azeem to oversee the expansion of infrastructure, including courtrooms equipped with information technology infrastructure, residential accommodation, staff and vehicles at both wings of the High Court.
The committee comprises the Registrar General, Registrar Vigilance, Registrar (I.T.), Registrar Judicial, Jammu/Srinagar, and the Central Project Coordinator (CPC), e-Courts, High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
The order states that the committee has been tasked with monitoring and supervising the augmentation of infrastructure required in view of the enhanced sanctioned strength of Judges.
