SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience mainly dry weather on Monday, while light rain, light snow over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds are expected at scattered to many places from October 6 to 10, the Meteorological Department said.
An official said weather would remain mainly dry across the Union Territory on October 5.
From October 6 to 10, partly to generally cloudy conditions are forecast, with light rain and light snow over higher reaches along with thunder and gusty winds at scattered to many places.
The official said the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy from October 11 to 15.
In view of the forecast for October 6 to 10, farmers have been advised to ensure the safe storage of apple and paddy to protect the produce from the anticipated inclement weather.
