SRINAGAR: One person died while two others were injured after an unknown vehicle hit three locals at Drugmulla in Kupwara on Monday, officials said.
The victims were identified as Asrar Ahmad Shah, son of Mohammad Shafi Shah of Checki Drugmulla; Manzoor Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar of Checki Drugmulla, aged about 24 years; and Faizan Ahmad Baba, son of Mohammad Ashraf Baba of Checki Drugmulla, aged about 25 years.
All three injured were shifted to SDH Kupwara for treatment. Doctors at the facility declared Faizan Ahmad Baba dead on his arrival, while the other two are undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case in this regard. (KNT)
