Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Tuesday said that incumbent Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has been leaving no stone-unturned to bring Kashmir “into the tight grip of India and for this purpose he (Mufti) has been waging war against his own people”.

In a statement to CNS, Hizb Chief Syed Sallahuddin said that it is disgusting on part of Mufti-Modi government “to level murder charges” against JKLF Chairperson Yasin Malik and his associates. “The criminal silence of Mufti-Modi government over the VDC terror invited a protest from Yasin Malik and it is irony that such protest was dubbed as war against state. International Community ought to take cognizance of state terrorism,” he said.

Sallahuddin said that state government led by Mufti has been “indulging in killings” in Kashmir. “We appeal International community and human rights organizations to take concrete steps and use their good books to put an end to human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Hizb Chief reiterated that sacrifices and arrests will not stop them from pursuing their dream for freedom.
