Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Monday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of the mother of slain Hizb commander Maqbool Elahi.
Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin in a statement to CNS said that the mother of Maqbool Elahi was an epitome of sacrifices who braved all odds to kindle the candle of Kashmir Freedom Movement. “She played a pivotal role in the ongoing freedom struggle. She followed the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in letter and spirit and it was her education committment that made her son an eternal figure in the Kashmir history,” Salahuddin said while addressing a conference.
Hizb Deputy Chief Saifullah Khalid also paid rich tributes to the dedication and contribution of Maqbool Elahi’s mother towards the freedom struggle and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
