Hizbul Mujahideen paid rich tributes to the two militants killed in Sopore and Machil encounters.

In an emailed statement to KNS, Hizb chief Syed Salahuddin said that “precious sacrifices of the militants would not get waste”.

“The sacred blood of martyrs will show its colour one day. These Mujahideen preferred death over surrender. Altaf and Imtiyaz were associated with Hizb from past two years who participated in many anti-India operations,” Salahuddin said.

Four unidentified militants were killed in Machil sector in Kupwara district while two militants, Imtiyaz Ahmed Lone and Altaf Ahmed, were killed in an encounter in Bomai, Sopore.

Expressing sorrow over the killing of Bemina youth Tanvir Sultan Shiekh, the HM chief said that that Government of India “has given a license to its forces to kill innocent people in Jammu and Kashmir”.

“Under the garb of draconian laws India is hell bent to commit genocide of Kashmiris,” he said, adding, the struggle in Kashmir will continue till its logical end.”
