Jammu: State government Thursday announced government holiday on April 9 2017, and April 12 2017 in Srinagar and Islamabad parliamentary constituencies for its employees who are voters in these constituencies to cast their vote during Bye- Elections.
As per the order issued by the General Administration Department on the instructions of Election Commission of India, the polling days of April 9, 2017, and April 12 2017 would be granted paid holidays to government employees, semi-government employees and Industrial Workers in the areas falling within the jurisdiction of 2-Srinagar and 3-Islamabad parliamentary constituencies respectively.
