Chairman Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra Saturday agreed to constitute a House Committee to look into mismanagement, embezzlements and misappropriation in J&K Cooperative supply and marketing federation during last two decades.
On the persistent demand of the members who were not satisfied with the reply of the Government on the discussion raised by Naresh Kumar Gupta, the Chairman said that considering the seriousness of the issue and concern shown by the members, a House Committee will be constituted to re investigate the matter.
Earlier, several members took part in the discussion including Ghulam Nabi Monga, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, Jugal Kishore and Ravinder Kumar Sharma.
