Srinagar: Rouf Hussain Malik, of Pulwama in southern part of Kashmir along with hundreds of supporters joined Youth Wing of People’s Democratic Party on Saturday.
“Rouf is a social activist and has been associated with people at grass roots. He has contributed immensely in the growth and development of his area,” a statement of youth PDP said.
“He is an energetic, dedicated and hardworking party activist. We hope he will come up to the expectations of the party leadership,” said youth PDP president Waheed Ur Rehman Parra, according to the statement.
Youth President, PDP and MP Rajya Sabha Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Youth leader Tariq Wani and Mukhtar Band, were present on the occasion.
