Hurriyat Conference (M) leaders who are visiting Pakistan in coming days left for New Delhi three days before, on Wednesday, fearing bad weather may hamper them to reach New Delhi in time.

The delegation of seven members is leaving for Pakistan on Saturday. The leaders were earlier leaving on for Delhi on Friday December 14, but they changed their plan because of the weather threat.

 Hurriyat (M) spokesperson, Shahid ul Islam confirmed the change in the plan due to expected snowfall in the valley.

“Hurriyat delegation left for New Delhi keeping in view the forecast about the snowfall in the coming days, however, there is no change in leaving from Delhi to Islamabad,” Shahid said.

The Hurriyat delegation which left for New Delhi on Wednesday include Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Agha Syed Hassan, Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, Molvi Abbas Ansari, Musadiq Adil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Bilal Gani Lone and Mukhtar Ahmad Waza.

Hurriyat sources said that Mukhtar Waza has not been issued passport as yet but he will hopefully receive it in New Delhi.
