Hurriyat Conference (g) leaders, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and spokesperson Ayaz Akbar, have been put under house arrest ahead of tomorrow’s shutdown.
A Hurriyat Conference leader told KNS that Sehrai and Ayaz Akbar have been put under house arrest by police this evening and Mehraj-ud-Din Kalwal is detained in a police station.
Both factions of Hurriyat Conference and JKLF have called for shutdown Wednesday against the recent controversial issues, including Sainik Colony proposal, compost townships for Kashmiri migrant Pandits, and new industrial policy.
