Paying rich and glowing tributes to the two unidentified youths who were killed in Handwara gunfight, Hurriyat Conference (g) said that India “is sole responsible for the on-going bloodshed in Kashmir and to continue its illegal and forced occupation, this country is misusing its military power”.
Hurriyat Conference (g) said, “Kashmiris too want to live a peaceful and prosperous life but the rigidness and stubbornness of India is making the situations worse.”
Hurriyat Conference said, “the youths who are sacrificing their youth hood are benefactors and supporters of the Kashmiri nation. Our nation is indebted to them and our duty is to carry forward their mission till the achievement of the desired goal.”
“It is the responsibility of all the justice loving people of the world to help the Kashmiri nation in their freedom struggle. It is a genuine struggle and the world community also recognizes it. There is no truth in the negative propaganda of India by which they try to link our freedom struggle with the terrorism. India had sent its forces to Bangladesh in the name of Mukhti Bahani to fight the Pakistan army,” Hurriyat Conference (g) said in a statement.
They justified this move by saying that Bangladesh want freedom and being its neighbour it is our duty to help them.
“India, however, follows double standards in Kashmir and invoke terrorist tag on the people who help Kashmiris,” the statement said.
Hurriyat Conference (g) appealed the world community to intervene and help in stopping the loss of precious human lives in Jammu & Kashmir and fulfil “your responsibility in giving the Right to Self Determination to the Kashmiri people.” (KNS)
