A delegation of Hurriyat (M) led by Ghulam Nabi Zaki comprising, Ghulam Nabi Najar and Jaffar Kashmiri visited Pulwama to condole and express solidarity with the families of seven slain civilians killed by forces at Sirnoo village.

The spokesman said that delegation sympathised with the families of slain civilians and said that the whole nation shared their grief and pain. On the occasion, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also spoke to the parents of the slain civilians over the phone and expressed his heartfelt condolence and sympathies. Mirwaiz said that Kashmiri people have been at the receiving end of “occupation” and as a consequence suffering immensely and offering priceless sacrifices. He stressed that unity compassion for one another and belief in the justness of our cause will help us realize our goal by the will of Allah.

Hurriyat also strongly condemned the “attempt to murder” charges slapped on the JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik and seven of his associates as termed it ridiculous and a move aimed to harass and create hurdles for pro-freedom leadership. Hurriyat said that charges also reflect sheer political vendetta against pro-freedom leadership.

  1. India is really sad at the unfortunate & totally avoidable civilian deaths. I have always maintained that it is the poor parents whose rest of life is ruined otherwise life moves on … What are the hurriyat jokers doing at the houses of those whose kids they are responsible for having got killed. Why are the kids of hurriyat never caught in the crossfire? Why are hurriyat kids safe and enjoying life INDOORS while the common man is being instigated to form a frenzied mob. Then why wail & whine when you get hit? Please, Allah ke Vaaste Stay Indoors When An Encounter Is Taking Place Just Like The Kids Of Hurriyat Leaders.
