A protest rally was organized by leaders and workers of Hurriyat (G) Conference and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat against the killing of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat District president Mir Hafizullah, at Abiguzar Srinagar.

Strongly condemning this act, the spokesman said such barbaric and inhuman acts by the democracy are an ugly mole, disfiguring it beyond recognition.

Hurriyat (G) Conference, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leaders and workers including Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Mohammad rafiq Uwasi, Bilal Sidiqui, Mehraj-ud-din Rabani, Rafiq Ahmad Ganie, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani, Khawaja Firdous, Syed Bashir Indrabi, Rameez Raja, Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Syed Saleem Zargar, Mohammad Maqbllo Maghami, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, Imran Ahmad, Abdul Rashid, Tawseef Ahmad, jan Mohammad, Gowhar Ahmad, Abdul Rashid, Sajad Ahmad, Irfan Ahmad, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi, Asif Jan, Mukhtar Ahmad, Mohammad Qasim, Ashiq Ahmad and others held a peaceful protest at Abi Guzar Srinagar.

They said that wiping away pro-freedom personalities and creating a fear psychosis in their families can in no way be tolerated and any conscious and civilized person with human heart cannot remain silent.

Speakers said that these extra judicial killings are carried out by well nit and well organized plan to send shock waves through the pro-freedom camp and these killers and their masters pretend to be innocent.

They said that “agencies” very cunningly and arrogantly put the blame on “un-identified” as this misnomer has been creating havoc for the last 30 years throughout the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, on the direction of Hurriyat (M) Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq a high level delegation of APHC and Awami Action Committee (AAC) led by senior leader Muhammad Shafi Khan and comprised  Muhammad Yousuf Bhat, Muhammad Sidiq Hazar, Nazir Ahmed Sofi, Muzaffar Ahmed Tak visited Badoora, Achabal, Islamabad to express solidarity with the family members of slain Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Hafizullah Mir.

The delegation also comprised Muhammad Yousuf Bhat, Muhammad Sidiq Hazar, Nazir Ahmed Sofi, Muzaffar Ahmed Tak and others visited the residence of slain Tahreek Hurriyat District President Hafizullah Mir

The delegation strongly condemned the killing of Hafizullah Mir at the hands of unidentified gunmen and also conveyed the condolence message of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to the bereaved family.

While speaking over phone with the Ghulam Qadir Mir, the brother of slain Hafizullah Mir, Mirwaiz expressed his heartfelt condolence and sympathy  and paid rich tributes to the slain besides stating that the Hafizullah was a great soldier of Kashmir movement, who remained steadfast towards his mission till his last breath. Mirwaiz also prayed for the highest standards in Janah for the slain.
