The spokesman while condemning night raids and incarceration of innocent youth, expressed anguish, the statement said and strongly criticised the role of administration for use of muscular tactics against innocent people.

Hurriyat denounced authorities for their move to “harass” senior Hurriyat leader Ab Ahad Waza and Master Ali Mohammad ( Bandipora) , saying the forces personnel deployed in Awoora Zurhama forces camp and local SOG camp harassed and intimidated inmates. Hurriyat in its statement strongly condemned the arrest of Ab Hamid Parey , Khurshid Ahmad Hajjam , Nisar Ahmad Rather, Gh Hassan Shah, Mohd Muzaffar Lone ( Hajin Bandipora) and Shakil Ahmad Sofi ( Baramulla) by SOG and police, saying authorities detained these activists on flimsy and fabricated grounds.

Referring to recent reports of UNHRC about human rights violations by government forces in Jammu Kashmir, the Hurriyat said, the report serves as an eye-opener for authorities. APHC suggested authorities to read the writing on the wall, shun rigidity and egoistic approach and impressed to accept the verdict of people and honor ground realities about people’s right to self-determination.
