Hurriyat Conference (G) has strongly condemned the re-arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Milat chairperson Syeda Asiya Andrabi, despite the quashing of PSA and her release.
In a statement, Hurriyat (G) said that she is herself not physically well and is suffering from many ailments. At the same time her son, Ahmad is in hospital and undergone surgery, needs his mother to look after him, but puppet rulers claiming to represent a democratic coalition have most undemocratically kept both husband and wife incarcerated, only for raising their voice for the people’s right, right to self-determination.
Hurriyat (G) prayed for the speedy recovery of Ahmad Ibn Qasim and at the same time criticised the continuous onslaught of the pro-freedom activists.
Meanwhile Hurriyat (G) has strongly condemned the arrest of a Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activist Manzoor Ahmad Kaloo and Mohammad Ashraf Malik of Sopore by the police and termed it a highhandedness of the uniformed forces.
