Hurriyat (M) Conference on Monday strongly condemned the use of indiscriminate force on people of Valley particularly of South Kashmir. Hurriyat termed it as an open aggression and worst form of “State terrorism”.

The spokesman in a statement said that it is because of the unbridled powers are given to the government forces and the lack of accountability that every day innocent civilians are being killed and wounded besides damage to the properties.

The Hurriyat said that use of force and unleashing the reign of “terror” by killing innocents, blinding and maiming youth, vandalizing properties of people, torching orchards and harassing the elderly lot has become a become a routine affair in Kashmir and the government forces continue to kill Kashmiris at their will and wish.

Meanwhile, on directions of Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, senior Hurriyat leaders Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Abdul Rashid Untoo, Ghulam Nabi Najar, Abdul Majeed Wani, Jaffer Kashmiri visited Khrew Pampore, the residence of Faizan Ahmad Poswal a 16-years-old student of Khrew Pampore who was mercilessly killed in indiscriminate firing by forces in Pulwama. The leaders expressed heartfelt condolences with bereaved family especially with the father of deceased Dr Abdul Gani Poswal.

On the occasion, the Hurriyat leaders said that even teenagers and minor boys are not being spared by the forces and are being shot and killed a day in and day out.

Meanwhile, APHC has strongly denounced the authorities for not handing over the mortal remains of Mudasir Ahmed Bhat of old Barzulla, to his family who was killed in an encounter with the army at Kupwara, Hurriyat said that denying the return of the mortal remains of a Mudasir to his family is not only condemnable but inhuman.
