Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed surprise over Javaid Ahmad Mir’s sudden decision to quit the amalgam.
A spokesman said that Mir neither informed the forum nor the chairman about his decision or the reasons behind it, but straightaway went to the media where he ambiguously mentioned about some, “ideological differences” without elaborating what he meant.
The spokesman said that Mir is free to do as he wills but the manner in which he has done it, goes against the basis of organizational ethics and is in bad taste.
