Hurriyat (M) protests against Modi’s Kashmir visit

Ahead of the PM Modi’s Kashmir visit, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday held a protest demonstration outside his Nigeen residence in Srinagar against the PM’s visit to Kashmir.

Reports said that Mirwaiz along with his workers assembled outside his residence in Nigeen Srinagar, shouting anti-governmental and against PM’s visit to Kashmir.

Earlier, JRL, Joint Resistance Leadership of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik had asked people to march towards Lal Chowk today to protest the PM Modi’s visit.

However, heavy contingents of police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed along all the roads, to avoid any untoward incident.
