The APHC on Saturday said that the Hurriyat delegation present in the Geneva would present the case of current human rights violation situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir before the 27 annual gathering of United Nations Human Rights Commision (UNHRC) on Sep 17 on the instructions of its chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

The delegates under item no 3 and 4 world present the case of the Shopian incident and all the statistics of HR violations committed by Indian troops across the state before the human rights defenders from across the globe who are participating in the world body meeting.

The delegates would also meet the representatives of International rights organization and leading HR defenders to apprise them about the Shopian incident in particular.

In connection with the HR violations in Kashmir, Mirwaiz has also written letters to the permanent members of United Nations Security Council, OIC, and leading members of the European Union, informing them about the Shopian killings incidents, rights violations, and bloodbath of Kashmiris.

Meanwhile the APHC Chairman  who continues to be under house arrest, paid  rich tributes to Abdul Rashid Gazi and praised his contributions towards the freedom movement. Mirwaiz demanded an impartial probe into his mysterious death.
