The moderate Hurriyat is readying for Pakistan visit on Friday. Disregarding the criticism over the impending visit, the alliance is holding its last round of consultations on Wednesday, a local news gathering agency KNS reported.

Regional Passport Officer at Srinagar has confirmed that two executive members Molvi Abbas Ansari and Musadiq Aadil were issued passports on Monday whereas the application of another executive member Mukhtar Ahmad Waza is still under process.

Mirwaiz Umer Farooq who leads the delegation has stated that six of his Hurriyat’s executive members Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone, Molvi Abas Ansari, Aga Syed Hassan and Musadiq Adil have been issued passports whereas Passport for Mukhatar Ahmad Waza was still pending.

Waza’s papers have been sent to Delhi for necessary clearance. He, in the meanwhile, has applied for traveling through LoC.

Shabir Ahmad Shah is reported to have applied for the travel documents for traveling through Line of Control (LoC). Mohammad Abdullah Tari has also applied for travel documents for an LoC travel.

The delegation would spend a week in crisis ridden Pakistan and holding talks with Pakistan Prime Minster Raja Parvaiz Ashraf, Foreign Minster Hina Rabani Khar, Mian Manzoor Watoo, Mian Nawaz Shareef, Imran Khan and others.
