Dr Basharat Pandit (Gynaecologist) who operates the patient said a 45-year old female was admitted to CHC Rajpora as a case of intractable menorrhagia.

He said that the patient had received many blood transfusions and iron infusions in the last two years.

He added that an ultrasound of the patient was showing adenomyosis of uterus.

Dr Basharat claimed that the surgery was first of its kind at CHC Rajpora.

“I am thankful to Block Medical officer (BMO) Dr Javiad, and OT staff of CHC Rajpora who provided me logistic support to perform such surgery,” Dr Basharat Pandit said.
