SRINAGAR: ELFA International organisation donated a Hysteroscopy Unit to Government Lalla Ded Hospital in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, with financial support from NTT DATA.
This partnership, part of NTT DATA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, aims to address healthcare needs in Jammu and Kashmir.
A hysteroscope is used for minimally invasive procedures such as hysteroscopy, which is important for diagnosing and treating intrauterine conditions, including abnormal bleeding, polyps, fibroids, and other uterine abnormalities.
The addition of this equipment will improve the hospital’s ability to provide care and patient outcomes.
The Hysteroscope Unit was handed over by Chief Guest Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Administrator GMC and associated hospital, in the presence of Prof (Dr) Syeda Masuma Rizvi, Head of the Department, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, L D Hospital; Santosh Karamgattil, Director Finance NTT DATA; Dr Muzaffer Jan, Medical Superintendent LD Hospital; Prof Dr Rizwana Habib, Ex HOD Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, LD Hospital; Mir Iftikhar Ahmad, Vice-President, ELFA International; Nawab Mehran Khan, CEO, ELFA International; and other senior team members of ELFA International.
Mohammad Ashraf Hakak thanked ELFA International and NTT DATA for the donation, stating that the region will benefit from this service.
